Welcome

Welcome to my investment blog where I share with you my analysis of REITs in Singapore.

I hope that my investment philosophy will bring me a steady stream of income apart from my job. I am aiming for at least $3,000 per month which can sustain the current expenses of myself and my family.

Do enjoy reading my blog and post any comments that you have. I welcome them because it is a time to learn from each other.

When I am looking at investing in REIT, here are some of the guidelines that I am looking at. Feel free to comment on it. I am willing to listen to ideas.

-> at least 8% yield.
-> Price that is lower than its NAV.
-> Low gearing (if possible)
-> High secured NAV.

Current Dividend income is $3,800/month.

Subscribing of Rights for K-REIT Asia

I have subscribed to my rights entitlement of 5,100 shares in K-REIT Asia at a price of $0.85. Moreover, I have made an excess application of 4,900 shares because I hope to reduce my average buying price to below $0.90. I do have confidence that I will be able to get at least some of the excess application.

There is a lot of comments, articles about K-REIT Asia's acquisition with its CEO clarifying their stand. To me, I am buying it as a long-term investment to generate cashflow for my family expenses. Moreover, I felt that its forecast is quite conservative considering that their most recent quarterly report has suggested that their yield is actually much higher at current price.

With that, my investment in K-REIT has exceeded $10,000 which means it is now one of my anchor investment.
