After a short holiday, I found that I have gotten all the shares which I have applied for. I did not expect to get all excess shares which I have applied for. This brings my K-REIT portfolio to 16,000 shares. This is not good news because it shows weakness in demand of K-REIT Asia shares and it did by falling below $0.85.
It is going to be a tough road ahead in terms of the strength of K-REIT Asia's share price but I am going in for long-term. Having said that, I don't have a margin of safety in terms of preservation of capital so will look closely at this one while it tries to produce results in the next few quarters.
Welcome
Welcome to my investment blog where I share with you my analysis of REITs in Singapore.
I hope that my investment philosophy will bring me a steady stream of income apart from my job. I am aiming for at least $3,000 per month which can sustain the current expenses of myself and my family.
Do enjoy reading my blog and post any comments that you have. I welcome them because it is a time to learn from each other.
When I am looking at investing in REIT, here are some of the guidelines that I am looking at. Feel free to comment on it. I am willing to listen to ideas.
-> at least 8% yield.
-> Price that is lower than its NAV.
-> Low gearing (if possible)
-> High secured NAV.
