Welcome

Welcome to my investment blog where I share with you my analysis of REITs in Singapore.

I hope that my investment philosophy will bring me a steady stream of income apart from my job. I am aiming for at least $3,000 per month which can sustain the current expenses of myself and my family.

Do enjoy reading my blog and post any comments that you have. I welcome them because it is a time to learn from each other.

When I am looking at investing in REIT, here are some of the guidelines that I am looking at. Feel free to comment on it. I am willing to listen to ideas.

-> at least 8% yield.
-> Price that is lower than its NAV.
-> Low gearing (if possible)
-> High secured NAV.

Current Dividend income is $3,800/month.

Coming back after a break... With some updates of my trades.

Hi everyone,

It has been almost a month since I have posted on this blog. Well, I have been away for a while and before that, has been extremely busy with work and family. It is not a good sign to be so busy until there is no time for myself and even enjoying family life so the family trip to Taiwan last week has been excellent for me. However, I did made some trades which I would like to share with you.

1) Accordia Golf Trust - They have reported their results which to me was disappointing and the market reacted in the same way as well. With the current statistics, I don't think it is worth the risk so I sold off 27,000 shares at $0.595 last month before they go XD. I queued up to sell and did not manage to sell off all. With 5,000 shares left, I will just wait and see first. (It is dropping to $0.535 now so it is still not a good sign)

2) Global Investment Limited - Since I bought 154,000 shares at $0.13, it has risen up and I thought I would like to take profit from it so I sold 125,000 shares at $0.137, leaving a total of 659,466 shares on hand (including past purchases, and dividend-in-scrip). To me, it is a chance to withdraw some of my dividends which I have not enjoyed for quite a while.

With the cash coming in, I paid off some of my debts, leaving with about $15,000 debt in my margin account.

I just came back so still updating some data. Will post it once I am ready. Enjoy investing.
