When I am looking at investing in REIT, here are some of the guidelines that I am looking at. Feel free to comment on it. I am willing to listen to ideas.

-> at least 8% yield.
-> Price that is lower than its NAV.
-> Low gearing (if possible)
-> High secured NAV.

Current Dividend income is $3,800/month.

It is back to the Quarterly Report Season

Hi readers,

It has been a while since my last post. I have been busy with my work which does not allow me to blog. It has also hindered me to make more inroads in my investments and I do miss a chance to buy more Global Investments Limited when it was at 0.164. It does seems to have another chance since it drop back to 0.171 but I will need time to think through again.

The Earnings season has just started with A-REIT yesterday. I won't be analyzing A-REIT as its yield is quite low. Of course, the reason is that it is strong and stable and that's why it can trade at that yield level but it does not fit my criteria. I will be making analysis this Jan and Feb when more REITs announce their results.

I am reviewing my criteria as there is no REIT that currently fit my criteria. I don't wish to deviate away from my philosophy but it is important as well to remain invested.
